So my ipod got stolen last night as I got on the bus. It was a major bummer. The buses are packed with people and people were bumping up against me and the moment I put my money in the slot I looked down and my ipod headphones were just hanging loose, when just a moment before they had been connected to the ipod in my pocket. I was in shock. Some people on the platform informed me that my "mobile phone" had been stolen. Apparently the guy had jumped on the bus in front of mine just as it pulled away. The way it was stolen leads me to believe that it was not an amateur thing, but a team of people who often do this. So that was a bummer, but my host family really made me feel a lot better, so that was nice. But needless to say, I'm pretty bummed. My plan is to buy a cheap replacement and fill it up with music from my instructors here, but I just feel violated and pretty bummed.
